Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use this website or book work with Comfort Pros AZ and CA. By requesting service you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Comfort Pros AZ and CA provides residential hvac and plumbing services in Arizona and California. We are licensed and insured in both states: AZ ROC 364742 - Specialty Dual CR-39, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, and CA C-20 #1040927.

2. Services we provide

We work on residential systems. Commercial and light commercial work falls outside our current scope.

3. Quotes and flat-rate pricing

We quote a flat rate covering parts and labor before work begins, and that figure does not change once we start. If we discover a separate problem during the job, we stop and quote it separately rather than adding it to the running invoice. Diagnostic fees, where they apply, are disclosed when you book.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Equipment pricing may change if a manufacturer adjusts pricing or a part becomes unavailable, in which case we will contact you before proceeding.

4. TrueQuote AI

TrueQuote AI produces an equipment recommendation from a load calculation based on the information you provide. Its accuracy depends on that information being correct. Where a home has conditions we cannot see from the inputs, such as failed ductwork or an access constraint, the final installed price may differ, and we will tell you before any work starts.

5. Scheduling and cancellations

Same-day appointments are offered where our schedule allows, and no-cooling and no-water emergencies are prioritised during peak season. Please give us at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment. Repeated missed appointments may result in a call-out fee on future bookings.

6. Payment

Payment is due on completion unless financing has been arranged in advance. We accept cash, credit and debit cards, and financing through GreenSky, Wisetack and Goodleap. Financing terms are set by the lender, not by us, and our price is the same whether you finance or not.

7. Warranties

Completed repairs carry a parts and labor warranty. New equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty in addition to our installation coverage. Manufacturer warranties commonly require documented annual maintenance to remain valid, and claims can be denied without that record. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorised alterations, work performed by others, or failures caused by conditions outside the equipment such as water chemistry or electrical supply problems.

8. Access and site conditions

You agree to provide safe access to the work area, including attics, crawlspaces, roofs and equipment closets. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, code violations created by others, or concealed conditions that could not reasonably be identified before work began. Where a hazard is discovered, we may stop work until it is addressed.

9. Permits and compliance

Where a job requires permitting, we handle it as part of the work. California installations may trigger Title 24 Part 6 requirements including duct testing and sealing. We include those requirements in the quote rather than raising them at inspection.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Comfort Pros AZ and CA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from our services or from your use of this website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the work giving rise to it.

11. Website content

Content on this site, including guides and pricing information, is provided for general information. It is not a substitute for a diagnosis of your specific system. Prices shown are starting points and vary with equipment, access and scope.

12. Intellectual property

The text, graphics, logos and images on this site are the property of Comfort Pros AZ and CA and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona for work performed in Arizona and the State of California for work performed in California.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The revised version takes effect when posted here, and the "last updated" date will change.
