Three Lenders, No Markup, No Pressure
Nobody plans for a compressor to fail in July. Here is exactly how paying over time works with us, and how utility rebates stack on top of it.
The Price Does Not Move Either Way
The most common thing homeowners get wrong about contractor financing is assuming the financed price and the cash price are the same everywhere. Often they are not. Lender fees get absorbed into an inflated system price, and the person who pays cash quietly subsidises the person who finances.
Our flat rate is the flat rate. You can price the exact same system through TrueQuote AI and see the number before any financing conversation happens, which makes that claim checkable rather than something you have to take on faith.
We work with three lenders because credit profiles differ and one product does not fit everyone. Prequalifying is a soft pull with all three, so you can compare real offers without touching your score.
Which One Fits Your Situation
GreenSky
Larger replacements where a long promotional term matters
GreenSky is the most established of the three in home improvement lending and typically offers the longest promotional structures on full system replacements. Application is a soft pull to check offers, and approval usually comes back in minutes.

Wisetack
Mid-size repairs and unexpected failures
Wisetack is built for exactly the situation a failed compressor creates: fast, no hard credit pull to see your options, and terms sized to a repair rather than a whole system. Useful when the invoice is a few thousand rather than five figures.

Goodleap
Efficiency upgrades and heat pump conversions
Goodleap specialises in sustainability-oriented home improvement, which makes it a natural fit for heat pump conversions, high-efficiency replacements and projects where utility rebates are part of the plan.

Terms, rates and approval criteria are set by each lender and change over time. We do not set them and we do not receive a different price depending on which one you choose. Pre-qualify with all three and compare real offers side by side.
Utility Rebates Sit on Top of Financing
A note on federal tax credits
The federal 25C Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit ended for equipment placed in service after December 31, 2025, so we no longer include it in proposals. If federal incentives return, we will update this page. In the meantime we still supply the AHRI certificate and invoice detail your tax preparer may ask for.
Utility rebates
In Arizona, APS and SRP run separate programs and your eligibility depends on which territory your meter sits in. In California, TECH Clean California plus the individual utilities including LADWP, SCE, Glendale Water & Power and Burbank Water and Power each run their own. We check before quoting so the incentive numbers in your proposal are the real ones.
Incentive programs change, and we are contractors rather than tax advisors. Treat the amounts as a starting point and confirm eligibility with your tax preparer and utility before counting on a specific figure.
How Our Financing Approach Compares
| What matters | Typical provider | Comfort Pros |
|---|---|---|
| Where the price comes from | Adjusted in-home after a sales conversation | Flat rate quoted before work begins |
| Financing markup on the quote | Often built into an inflated system price | Same price whether you finance or pay outright |
| Checking your options | Hard credit pull at the kitchen table | Soft-pull prequalification, three lenders |
| Rebate and tax credit paperwork | Left to the homeowner | We identify what applies and provide documentation |
| Equipment sizing behind the number | Rule-of-thumb square footage | Real Manual J load calculation |

Run TrueQuote AI to see the real number for correctly sized equipment. Financing is a separate conversation and it does not change the price.
