Free Maintenance. 20% Off. 10% Off a New System.

Three real offers for the people who keep Greater Phoenix and Greater Los Angeles running. No marketing gimmick, no coupon book, no fine print hiding exclusions.

Community service

Free maintenance for those who serve

Teachers, nurses, firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement, active-duty military, and veterans — anyone who keeps our community running — gets free maintenance through the Care N'Comfort Hero Program. Annual AC tune-up, annual heating check, and the same priority scheduling our members pay $9.99 a month for. Free, no contract, no fine print.

Verification required at sign-up (school badge, professional license, military ID, or DD-214).

20% off

20% military discount on service

Active-duty service members, veterans, and their immediate families receive 20% off any HVAC or plumbing repair, installation, or diagnostic. The discount is applied to the final invoice — not a stripped-down "hero price" that excludes the real work. Combined with financing through GreenSky, Wisetack, and Goodleap, the cost of a correctly sized system is genuinely within reach.

Valid for one address per household. Cannot be combined with the free-maintenance offer.

10% off

10% off a new system

Any new AC, furnace, heat pump, water heater, or whole-home plumbing upgrade is 10% off when you tell us at the quote. The discount applies on top of any current manufacturer rebate and stacks with our financing terms. We size the system with a real Manual J load calculation so the 10% does not get eaten by an oversized unit running inefficiently for the next fifteen years.

Applies to equipment purchases only. Bundled with TrueQuote AI or any in-home quote.

Built for the People Who Run Our Community

The Hero Program is funded by Comfort Pros and supported by our manufacturer partners specifically for the people who do the work other people count on. If your job keeps the rest of us safe, healthy, or learning, you qualify.

Verification is one-time per household and takes a couple of minutes. We do not run credit checks or sell your information. The point of the program is to make yearly maintenance a non-decision, not to add paperwork.

Heroes across these roles are eligible today

  • Active-duty military
  • Veterans
  • First responders (fire, EMS, police)
  • Teachers and school staff
  • Nurses and clinical staff
  • Hospital and 911 dispatchers

Don't see your role? Call the team in your state. We add qualifying roles as the program grows, and we do not turn away community servants because their job title did not make a list.

Service Should Be Free for the People Already Serving

Most of the people who qualify for the Hero Program are not paid enough for what they do. Teachers buy supplies out of pocket. Nurses work twelve-hour shifts. First responders answer calls no one else wants to take. The people who keep Greater Phoenix and Greater Los Angeles running are also the people for whom a $500 service call is not a small thing.

The Hero Program exists because we would rather lose a margin than watch a teacher skip the annual AC check because the cost was a barrier. A capacitor that fails in July is a $700 emergency repair; the spring tune-up that catches it is free for heroes, and it stays free as long as Comfort Pros is in business.

The 20% military discount and the 10% off a new system exist for the same reason. Active-duty service members and veterans gave the rest of us something we can never fully repay. Discounts on a furnace or a water heater are not repayment either, but they are the lever a contractor has, and we are using it.

A Real Tune-Up, Not a Five-Minute Walk-Through

The free maintenance visit is the same seasonal visit our paying members get. The same technician standards, the same written readings, the same documentation that keeps manufacturer warranties valid.

  1. 01

    Spring cooling tune-up

Subcooling and superheat readings, static pressure test on the air handler, coil and condensate drain service, capacitor test under load, and refrigerant level check against outdoor design temperature. A written report you keep.

  2. 02

    Fall heating check

Combustion analysis on gas furnaces, igniter and pressure-switch test, blower motor amp draw, CO testing at the registers. Same written report. Catches the cracked heat exchanger before it becomes a no-heat emergency.

  3. 03

    Priority when something breaks

Free-maintenance heroes go to the front of the dispatch board in peak season, the same way paying members do. When the third week of July fills the queue, you are not waiting two days in a house at 100 degrees.

Free-maintenance heroes still receive flat-rate pricing on any repair. The discount applies on top of free maintenance, not instead of it. One address per household, while funding lasts.

Hero Program Questions

Who qualifies for the Care N’Comfort Hero Program?

Active-duty military, veterans, first responders (firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, law enforcement), 911 and hospital dispatchers, teachers and school staff, and licensed nurses and clinical staff. One address per household. We verify at sign-up so the program stays funded for the people it is meant for.

What does "free maintenance" actually include?

The same seasonal tune-ups our $9.99-per-month members get: a spring cooling tune-up (subcooling and superheat readings, static pressure test, coil and condensate service, capacitor test under load) and a fall heating check with carbon-monoxide testing on gas furnaces. Plus priority scheduling in peak season. Free, once a year, while the program is funded.

How do I get the 20% military discount?

Tell us when you call or book online. Show a current military ID or DD-214 at the visit (or upload it with the sign-up form). The 20% is applied to the final invoice before payment — it is not a teaser price that excludes the work that actually needs to be done. One address per household.

Does the 10% off a new system stack with financing?

Yes. The 10% applies to the equipment price on top of any current manufacturer rebate and stacks with GreenSky, Wisetack, and Goodleap financing terms. We run a real Manual J load calculation on every replacement, so the 10% is not eaten back by running an oversized system inefficiently for fifteen years.

Can I combine the free maintenance with the 20% military discount?

No — the free maintenance and the 20% discount are two separate offers. Heroes in any qualifying role get free maintenance. Active-duty and veterans specifically also get 20% off service and 10% off a new system on top of that. The right combination depends on what you actually need done this year.

Is this offer available in both Arizona and California?

Yes. The Hero Program runs across our full service area — Greater Phoenix (Maricopa and Pinal Counties, AZ) and Greater Los Angeles (Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, CA). Same offers, same verification process, same crews licensed and insured in your state.

How do I sign up?

Use the sign-up button on this page, call the number for your state, or mention it when you book any service. Verification takes a couple of minutes and is handled once per household.
