Van Nuys and Encino are folded onto this page - separate cities, same Valley crew. Calabasas and Agoura are expansion territory, not buffer. Valley trucks run this route weekly, and same-day service lands here most days. Licensed CA C-20 #1040927. Call (818) 690-7951. What brings people to us here ## Four Sherman Oaks situations we run every week Real failure modes at this address - not generic copy. ### Mid-century ranch homes and aging ductwork 1950s-60s Sherman Oaks ranches carry ductwork sized for equipment that no longer exists. A new condenser onto undersized ducts raises static pressure, chokes airflow and kills the blower motor early. Static pressure test before any replacement quote on original ductwork. We measure, then we size. Duct replacement when the run cannot be brought to current spec. ### Van Nuys and Encino absorbed from this crew Van Nuys and Encino are separate cities. We take the call from the Sherman Oaks crew when a tech is already in the area - same-day when the routing lines up. Tell us your address at booking and we route it to whichever truck is closer. Same flat-rate pricing, same licensed techs on both sides. ### Valley heat and Spanish-style residences with original furnaces Spanish-style homes in Sherman Oaks often run original gravity furnaces or early forced-air units that pre-date modern efficiency. Heating bills climb and comfort drifts across the larger floor plans. Heat pump conversation on the replacement quote, with TrueQuote online price for both options. SCE rebate eligibility reviewed before equipment choice. ### Older multi-story apartments and shared drain stacks Multi-story apartment buildings along Ventura Boulevard share cast iron drain stacks that scale inward for decades until they catch everything. Recurring backups in the same line mean the pipe is at end of life. Camera inspection first, then a clear answer on whether a spot repair holds or a stack replacement is the right call. We work with property managers on shared stacks. Services from here ## What we run in Sherman Oaks and the surrounding pockets Emergency AC Flat-rate pricing quoted before work starts. A diagnostic visit runs $89 (2026 rates), and that fee applies toward the repair if you move forward. Parts and labor are quoted as one flat number before any work starts, so the total is settled before a wrench comes out. ### What is the $5000 rule for AC replacement? Multiply the age of your AC unit by the estimated repair cost. If the result exceeds $5,000, replacement typically makes more financial sense than repair. Our technicians run the repair-versus-replace math with you on every call so you can make the decision with real numbers. ### What is the 3-minute rule for air conditioning? After shutting off your AC, wait at least three minutes before turning it back on. Restarting too quickly forces the compressor to work against built-up refrigerant pressure, which can damage the motor over time. ### Do you offer AC maintenance and tune-ups in Sherman Oaks? We run seasonal tune-ups on our weekly Sherman Oaks service schedule. The $27 Tru Tune-Up covers a full system inspection, and the Care N'Comfort membership at $9.99 per month per unit includes a seasonal tune-up plus priority scheduling. ### What HVAC and plumbing services are available near me in Sherman Oaks? We cover Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Encino, and the Ventura Boulevard corridor for AC repair, AC installation, heating, water heater service, and emergency plumbing. Indoor air quality work including duct cleaning and air purifier installation is also available on our weekly San Fernando Valley runs. ### Still have a question? Called Comfort Pros and Dyango was at our house within two hours. Diagnosed the issue, had the part on his truck, and we were cool again by dinner. Fair price, no games." Rachel M. \- Comfort Pros customer > "Used the TrueQuote tool to price a full system replacement. I'd already gotten three in-home estimates from bigger companies - Comfort Pros was the only one that didn't try to sell me a 5-ton unit for a 1,800 sq ft house. Saved over $3,000." Tony K. \- Comfort Pros customer > "We moved from Phoenix to Burbank and needed a plumber the second week. Turns out Comfort Pros operates in California too - same quality, same honesty. Joe handled our water heater swap and was done in half the time I expected."
